ABOUT ME
I was born and raised in Southern California, then moved to Alexandria, VA for seven years. I have a BS in Communications from California State University, Fullerton. I worked for Corporate America for most of my adult career in Marketing Communications. After leaving Virginia, I decided I wanted to try another path doing something that I enjoyed. I have always loved having and caring for animals. As a child I always had pets including cats, dogs, hamsters, fish, rabbits, turtles, birds, and mice. Currently, I have three dogs--a Chihuahua, a Chihuahua Terrier mix, and a Rat Terrier. In addition, I have a Conure, a Parakeet, and two Diamond Doves. My golden retriever that I had for almost 14 yrs. passed on in Aug. 2010.
I have been living in Portland for three years with my husband and three dogs, two diamond doves and a parakeet. I have had my pet sitting business for a total of six years. Three years in Laguna Beach, CA, and three years in Portland, OR. During this time, I have been certified in Red Cross Pet First Aid and received my professional pet sitter certification through Pet Sitters International.
